Free, three hours, and built for people who have never touched AI. Here is what you need to know before you turn up.
01
Is this cheating?
No. You do the hardest part yourself — working out which problem is worth solving, and judging whether what the AI hands back is any good. You'll also learn to say where AI helped you. Being open about it is part of the skill.
02
What if I’ve never used AI before?
That's who this is built for. You don't need to have touched any of it. We start with how to spot a problem worth solving, then how to ask for what you need. Turning up curious is enough.
03
Am I old enough?
Our events are for high school students at the moment. Middle school is coming — if you're not there yet, register your interest and we'll let you know as soon as there's an event for you.
04
Does it cost anything?
No. It's completely free.
05
How long is it?
Three hours, in one session.
06
What do I need to bring?
A laptop, charged, plus the charger. You'll also need access to an AI model on it — Gemini or ChatGPT — since you'll be using it throughout the session. If you're under 18, that account needs a parent's permission.
07
Do I keep what I make?
Yes. It's your project and your solution — take it to school, put it in your portfolio, keep building on it. We want you to. You also get a certificate when you complete the session.
08
Can I sign up on my own?
You can. Events run region by region — the next one is in Los Angeles, early November. If there isn't one near you yet, register your interest and we'll get in touch as soon as one lands in your area.
09
What happens to the work I do?
It stays on your own laptop and in your own AI account. Inside 2Skills you use a pseudonym — we don't hold your real name or details, and we never sell data. A portfolio where you can keep your certificates and projects together is coming soon.
