By the end of the program, students will be able to do each of the following.

Distinguish Predictive from Generative AI
Two kinds of AI, two different jobs — and students select the right one for a given problem. They practise choosing, rather than reaching for whatever tool is nearest.

Identify a Problem Worth Solving
Students find a real problem in their own community and define it precisely — clearly enough that something can be built against it. This is the hardest skill in the program, and the one that lasts longest.

Construct & Evaluate a Prompt
Prompting has a structure. Students learn a repeatable formula, then learn to judge whether what came back is accurate and useful.

Apply a Code of Ethics
Students reason through a real decision involving AI out loud, with reasons — and recognise the cases where the right answer is to switch the AI off.

Build a Working Solution
Every student finishes with something that works, built against the problem they identified — and can explain why it is built the way it is.

Explain the Rationale
The program runs computers down first — discussion, then the booklet, then hands on. Teachers leave able to explain that choice to a parent, a principal or a school board.
