Two kinds of AI

Prompting is a skill. Better prompts don't give you slightly better results, they give you dramatically better ones.

The Prompt Formula
Use this framework to get dramatically better results every time.
Tip:
You don't need all five every time. Start with Role + Context + Format, and add the rest when the results fall short.
01
Role
"Act as a professional graphic designer." Tell the AI what expert it should be.
02
Context
"I'm making a social media post for a school robotics competition." Give it the background it needs.
03
Format
Create a square image in Instagram format, 1080×1080." Specify exactly what you want.
04
Constraints
"Bold typography, black and neon green only, no people." Set the boundaries.
05
Tone
"High energy, modern, tech-forward." Set the style and feel.
Use it smart
Every answer AI gives you is a starting point, not a finished one. Before you use what it made, check it: Does the tool say the output is yours? Does what it claims actually hold up, the names, the hours, the facts? Did it make anything up?
And the question worth carrying past this page: what did you add that the AI couldn't? That's your edge. Judgment, taste, and knowing when the output is wrong are the parts that stay yours.
A few things worth arguing about: Who owns AI art? Should you have to disclose when AI helped? What will humans always do better?
